Nylon shrinkage makes package dyeing technically demanding. Our experience brings custom shade development and production planning together.
Nylon FDY is a specialty within our nylon range. We also supply nylon filament twin yarns, polyester filament and polyester spun yarns, with the construction and shade agreed for each requirement.
Package dyeing is part of how we manufacture your dyed yarn. An agreed yarn specification, shade reference and quantity per shade give production and repeat orders a consistent starting point.

Approval, tests and the production schedule are agreed for your requirement.
Shade approval: usually 3 days; up to 7 days for complex shades, subject to yarn, treatment and reference clarity. Retain the agreed specification and shade reference for repeat orders.
Capacity and lot planning
Plan your programme in tonnes, shade by shade.
The total order, quantity per shade and repeat schedule determine how production lots are planned.

Consistent, mergeable production lots can be combined for larger orders against the agreed yarn specification and shade reference.
Initial development lots are 15 kg, separate from the standard production lots above.
Discuss the production schedule
Many confirmed orders can be planned around one week, including 1-3 tonnes in a single shade, depending on yarn, shade, order size, and plant schedule. Your order schedule is confirmed during review.

Fire-retardant
Discuss fire-retardant treatment where the yarn and application support it. Share the required performance standard and testing needs during review.

UV-absorbing treatment can be reviewed for outdoor and technical textile requirements. Provide the intended use, exposure conditions and yarn specification.
